This is Communion Sunday.
Today we have a special
"One Great Hour of Sharing" offering. U.M.C.O.R. (United Methodist Committee on Relief) is an important tool we United Methodists have to make hope and love real to persons who are in greatest need. Earthquakes, floods, fires, droughts and famines - when people are hurting and in despair, through UMCOR they receive relief. When our church takes part in
"One Great Hour of Sharing", we have the opportunity to participate in the delivery of hope and healing, here and all around the world, with UMCOR's work.

Monday, March 3rd—This is Pastor Lynn's day off. Casey U.M.C. Disciple Study will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M.

Tuesday, March 4th—Adair U.M.C. Disciple Study will meet from 1:00 to 3:00.

Thursday, March 6th—Casey United Methodist Women will meet at 2:00 P.M.

Friday, March 7th—World Day of Prayer. World Day of Prayer is a worldwide movement of Christian women of many traditions who come together to observe a common day of prayer each year, and who, in many countries, have a continuing relationship in prayer and service. Throughout the entire day, we collectively pray all over the world, beginning with the first sunrise and ending at the last sunset. Our prayers follow the sun’s path around the globe. WDP’s motto is “Informed prayer leads to prayerful action.”

This year's theme, "God's Wisdom Provides Understanding," calls us to be aware of the concerns of young women and youth impacted by globalization, migration, unemployment and underemployment, violence against women and the impact of HIV and AIDS on their lives and livelihood.
